# Rebilly news, features, and updates for August 2025

Hello, and welcome to the August edition of the Rebilly news, features, and updates blog.

## New features

### Deactivate and activate custom fields

You can now deactivate and activate custom fields. For more information, see [Deactivate custom fields](/docs/settings/custom-fields#deactivate-custom-fields).

### Trial usage limit reached

We added the trial usage limit reached event, webhook, and property.

A trial usage limit is a defined usage cap during the trial period of a subscription. When the reported usage reaches the configured trial limit, an event called 'trial-usage-limit-reached' is triggered. To notify the customer or restrict access to the service, a webhook and email notification can be configured for this event. When the trial limit is reached, additional usage cannot be reported unless the trial ends. ### Total recognized and estimated revenue amounts in journal entries

You can now view the total recognized revenue amount and total estimated amount of all journal records in a journal entry. For more information, see [View journal entries](/docs/settings/journal-account#view-journal-entries).

### Apple Pay on non-Safari browsers

We added support for Apple Pay on non-Safari browsers using a QR code flow. For information on how this works, see [Use Apple Pay in third-party browsers on Mac, Window devices, and other devices](https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/iphone/iph67e89f7c8/ios).

## New payment gateway integrations

- Added support for the [payment card](/payment-methods/payment-card) payment method for the [Loonio payment gateway](/gateways/loonio).


### Integration requests

Rebilly supports over 200 payment gateways and more than 170 payment methods including ACH, PayPal, and Bitcoin.
