Tags

This topic describes how to use tags in Rebilly. Use tags to organize and categorize customers or KYC documents based on keywords.

To use tags:

  1. Create one or more tags .
  2. Tag customers or tag KYC documents .
  3. View tagged customers .

Create a tag

Use this process to create customer or KYC document tags.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Settings icon , then click Tags .
  2. In the right of the screen, click Add tag .
  3. In the Name field, enter a name for the tag.
  4. In the Type dropdown, select from the following:
    • To create a customer tag: select Customer .
    • To create a KYC document tag: select KYC document .
  5. Click Add tag .

Tag customers

Use tags to add emphasis to specific customers, so that you can filter and find them in Data tables.

Select one of the following methods to tag or untag a customer.

Manually tag a customer

Use this process to manually tag customers.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Data tables icon , then click Customers .
  2. In the Name column, click a customer.
  3. In the left of the screen, under the customer's address click + Add tag .
  4. Click in the input field and select one or more customer tags.
  5. Click Apply .

Use this process to manually untag customers.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Data tables icon , then click Customers .
  2. In the Name column, click a customer.
  3. In the left of the screen, under the customer's address, on the tag, click Close icon .

Automatically tag or untag customers

To automatically tag or untag customers based on the occurrence of a specific event, see Tag or untag a customer. A common use case is to tag a customer as high risk, if their risk score exceeds a certain value.

Tag KYC documents

Use this process to manually tag KYC documents.

To tag KYC documents, you must activate the Rebilly KYC add-on. For more information, see KYC & AML.

  1. Go to the KYC workbench .
  2. In the top right of the screen, in the search bar, enter the name of a customer.
  3. Locate the document you wish to tag, then on the left of the document review information, click the image.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the new window, then in the Tags dropdown, select one or more KYC tags.
  5. Click Update this document .

View tagged customers

Use this process to view and group tagged customers in Data tables.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Data tables icon , then depending on the information you wish to filter, click Customers , Payments , or Billing .
  2. At the top of the table, click Filter icon .
  3. Click Add filter .
  4. Click the Select filter dropdown, type Tags , then select a tag filter.
  5. In the second dropdown, select a condition.
  6. In the second dropdown, select one or more customer tags.
  7. Click Save .
  8. Optionally, to create a new segment based on the applied filters: click Save segment as , enter a name for the new segment, then click Save .
