Payments KPIs

Use payments Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to view and analyze payments data and reports.

To access payments KPIs: In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon, then click Payments.

Payments tiles

The payments KPIs page is divided into tiles that provide insights into specific areas of payments, based on a specified time range. Each tile displays a graph, percentage increase or decrease over the defined range, and depending on the title type, a sum or a total count number.

The payments KPIs page contains the following tiles:

  • Sales: Total number of approved transactions.
  • Approval rate: Total number of approved transactions divided by the total number of transactions.
  • Revenue collected: Total amount of all collected revenue.
  • Refunds value: Total value of all refunded transactions.
  • Chargebacks: Total number of chargebacks.
  • Chargebacks value: Total value of all transactions with chargebacks.
  • Transactions: Total number of transactions.
  • New leads: Total number of new customer records.

Tile interactions

The following tile interactions are available:

  • Select a date range for the data that is displayed in tiles: In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range. To make a quick date range selection, click Date menu icon on the right of the date picker, then make a selection.
  • View and interact with detailed data reports: Mouse-over or click a tile, then click Go to report ➔ .
  • Hide one or more tiles: Mouse-over or click a tile, then click Hide icon .
  • Restore hidden tiles: In the top right of the screen, click Restore metrics icon .
  • Move or rearrange tiles: Mouse-over or click a tile, click Drag and move icon , then drag and drop the tile to a new location.
  • View detailed tile data in data tables, and inspect transactions:: Mouse-over or click a tile, then click Data tables icon .

Payments reports

Use payments reports to view and interact with detailed payments data.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click a tile, then click Go to report ➔ .

Transactions reports

Use transactions reports to graph transactions data and filter it based on range of metrics, and also by period of time. Transactions reports contain money, approval, and count reports, which are interactive and update based on the metrics and filters that are applied to the graph.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click a tile, then click Go to report ➔ .
  3. In the top of the screen, click Transactions .

Graph transactions

Use this process to graph transactions. Money, approval, and count reports update based on the metrics and filters that are applied to the graph.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click one of the following tiles: Sales , Revenue collected , Approval rate , Refunds value , Chargebacks , Chargebacks value , Transactions , or New leads . Then click Go to report ➔ .
  3. In the top of the screen, click Transactions .
  4. In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range. To make a quick date range selection, click Date menu icon on the right of the date picker, then make a selection.
  5. Select from the following:
    • To add or remove metrics from the graph: On the graph, click the Select metrics dropdown, then select or clear metrics.
    • To view additional details on the graph, mouse-over or click the graph.
    • To select unit of time: On the graph, click Minute , Hour , Daily , or Monthly .
    • To filter data that is displayed in the graph:
      1. Above the graph click Filter icon , then in the dropdown, select a value to filter.
      2. In the second dropdown, select a condition.
      3. Depending on the data selected in the previous steps, enter or select additional values.
      4. Click Apply filters . Use filters to add additional conditions to the data that is displayed in the graph. You can add multiple filters to a segment.
    • To delete a filter:
      1. Above the graph click Filter icon .
      2. On the right of the filter, click Delete icon .
    • To restore the graph to the default state: In the top right of the screen, click Restore metrics icon .
    • To view detailed information on graphed data, and inspect transactions: In the top right of the screen, click KPIs icon .

View money reports

Use money reports to analyze payments transactions based on one of the following values: plan, website, BIN, country, rebill number, transaction result, transaction type, gateway account, gateway, retry number, currency, leads source, leads medium, leads campaign, leads content, leads term, leads affiliate, leads sub-affiliate, or leads sales agent.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click the Revenue collected tile, then click Go to report ➔ .
  3. In the top of the screen, click Transactions .
  4. In the bottom of the screen, click Money report .
  5. In the dropdown, select a value.

Money reports display the following money metrics:

  • Sales value: Total value of approved sales and captures.
  • Sales average: Average approved sales and captures.
  • Refunds value: Total value of all refunds and voids.
  • Credits value: Total value of all approved credits.
  • Amount: Total amount of sales minus refunds and voids.

View approval reports

Use approval reports to analyze approved payments transactions based on one of the following values: plan, website, BIN, country, rebill number, transaction result, transaction type, gateway account, gateway, retry number, currency, leads source, leads medium, leads campaign, leads content, leads term, leads affiliate, leads sub-affiliate, or leads sales agent.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click the Revenue collected tile, then click Go to report ➔ .
  3. In the top of the screen, click Transactions .
  4. In the bottom of the screen, click Approval report .
  5. In the dropdown, select a value.

Approval reports display the following metrics:

  • Auth approved throughput: Total number of approved authorizations divided by the total number of authorizations.
  • Approved throughput: Percent of approved sales.
  • Auth approval count: Total number of approved authorizations.
  • Disputes rate: Percent of disputed sales and captures.

View count reports

Use count reports to analyze the number of payments transactions based on one of the following values: plan, website, BIN, country, rebill number, transaction result, transaction type, gateway account, gateway, retry number, currency, leads source, leads medium, leads campaign, leads content, leads term, leads affiliate, leads sub-affiliate, or leads sales agent.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click the Revenue collected tile, then click Go to report ➔ .
  3. In the top of the screen, click Transactions .
  4. In the bottom of the screen, click Count report .
  5. In the dropdown, select a value.

Count reports display the following metrics:

  • Sales count: Total number of approved sales and captures.
  • Refunds count: Total number of refunds and voids.
  • Credits count: Total number of approved credits.
  • Disputes count: Total number of disputed transactions.
  • Unapproved count: Total number of complete transactions that are not approved.
  • All: Total number of all payments, including declined payments.

View time series reports

Use time series reports to analyze and aggregate payments data that was collected over a specified period of time period.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click one of the following tiles: Sales , Revenue collected , Approval rate , Refunds value , Chargebacks , Chargebacks value , Transactions , or New leads . Then click Go to report ➔ .
  3. In the top of the screen, click Time series .
  4. In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range. To make a quick date range selection, click Date menu icon on the right of the date picker, then make a selection.
  5. In the Aggreation type dropdown, select: Count , Amount , Approval rate , or Incomplete rate .
  6. In the Sub-agregation type dropdown, select: Plan , Website , Gateway account , Currency , Leads source , Leads medium , Leads campaign , Leads content , Leads term , Leads affiliate , Leads sub-affiliate , or Leads sale agent .
    Displayed data is paginated, to move to the next or previous page, scroll to the bottom of the page.

View dispute reports

Use dispute reports to analyze disputed payments by month.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click one of the following tiles: Sales , Revenue collected , Approval rate , Refunds value , Chargebacks , Chargebacks value , Transactions , or New leads . Then click Go to report ➔ .
  3. In the top of the screen, click Disputes .
  4. Click the month dropdown and select a month.
  5. In the dropdown, select Website , Gateway/acquirer , Currency , Bin , Country , Rebill number , Retry number , Gateway account , or Transaction amount .

View dispute delays reports

Use dispute delays to analyze disputed payments delays, in days, over a period of time.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click one of the following tiles: Sales , Revenue collected , Approval rate , Refunds value , Chargebacks , Chargebacks value , Transactions , or New leads . Then click Go to report ➔ .
  3. In the top of the screen, click Dispute Delays .
  4. In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range. To make a quick date range selection, click Date menu icon on the right of the date picker, then make a selection.
  5. In the dropdown, select: Website , Gateway/acquirer , Currency , Bin , Country , Rebill number , Retry number , Gateway account , or Transaction amount .

View DCC markup reports

Use this process to analyze Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) reports. DCC provides the customer with the choice to be billed in the original transaction currency, or the customer's local currency.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click KPIs icon , then click Payments .
  2. Mouse-over or click one of the following tiles: Sales , Revenue collected , Approval rate , Refunds value , Chargebacks , Chargebacks value , Transactions , or New leads . Then click Go to report ➔ .
  3. In the top of the screen, click DCC markup .
  4. In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range. To make a quick date range selection, click Date menu icon on the right of the date picker, then make a selection.
  5. In the dropdown, select Day , Month , Bin , Country , Base currency , or Quote currency .

By default, one filter is applied to the DCC markup report. To view or edit the filter: Click Filter icon.
