Payment reports

This topic describes how to view and use payment reports.

Use payments reports to view and interact with detailed payment data.

View DCC markup reports

Use this process to analyze Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) reports. DCC provides the customer with the choice to be billed in the original transaction currency, or the customer's local currency. For more information, see DCC.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Reports .
  2. In the Payment reports section, click DCC markup.
  3. In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range.
    To make a quick date range selection, on the right of the date picker, click then make a selection.
  4. In the dropdown, select a metric to analyze.

By default, one filter is applied to the DCC markup report. To view or edit the filter: Click Filters .

View declined transaction reports

Use this process to analyze declined transaction reports based on gateway response messages. For more information, see Payment gateway response codes and messages.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Reports .
  2. In the Payment reports section, click Declined transactions.
  3. In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range.
    To make a quick date range selection, on the right of the date picker, click then make a selection.
  4. In the left of the screen, in the dropdown, select from the following messages types:
    • Gateway response message: Gateway response messages that are mapped to Rebilly system messages.
    • Gateway response original message: Original gateway response messages.
  5. Optionally, to filter messages based on specific attributes: In the right of the page, click Filters , then define and apply filters.

View dispute reports

Use dispute reports to analyze disputed payments by month.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Reports .
  2. In the Payment reports section, click Disputes.
  3. Click the month dropdown and select a month.
  4. In the dropdown, select metric to analyze.

View dispute delays reports

Use dispute delays to analyze disputed payments delays, in days, over a period of time.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Reports .
  2. In the Payment reports section, click Dispute delays.
  3. In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range. To make a quick date range selection, click on the right of the date picker, then make a selection.
  4. In the dropdown, select metric to analyze.

View time series reports

Use time series reports to analyze and aggregate payments data that was collected over a specified period of time period.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Reports .
  2. In the Payment reports section, click Time series.
  3. In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range. To make a quick date range selection, click on the right of the date picker, then make a selection.
  4. In the Aggregation type dropdown, select an aggregation type to analyze.
  5. In the Sub-aggregation type dropdown, select a sub-aggregation type to analyze.
    Time series report data is paginated. To move to the next or previous page, scroll to the bottom of the page.

View transactions reports

Use transactions reports to graph transactions data and filter it based on range of metrics, and also by period of time. Transactions reports contain money, approval, and count reports, which are interactive and update based on the metrics and filters that are applied to the graph.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Reports .
  2. In the Payment reports section, click Transactions.
  3. In the top right of the screen, click the date picker, then select a date range. To make a quick date range selection, click on the right of the date picker, then make a selection.
  4. Select from the following:
    • To add or remove metrics from the graph: On the graph, click the Select metrics dropdown, then select or clear metrics.
    • To view additional details on the graph: Mouse-over or click the graph.
    • To select unit of time: On the graph, click Minute, Hour, Daily, or Monthly.
    • To filter data that is displayed in the graph:
      1. Above the graph, click Filters .
      2. In the Filter dropdown, select a filter.
      3. In the Operation dropdown, select a condition.
      4. In the Value field, enter or select values.
      5. Click Apply filter. You can add multiple filters to a segment.
    • To delete a filter:
      1. Above the graph, click Filters .
      2. On the right of the filter, click Delete.
    • To restore the graph to the default state: In the top right of the screen, click Restore parameters.

View money reports

Use money reports to analyze payments transactions based on one or more variables.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Reports .
  2. In the Payment reports section, click Transactions.
  3. In the bottom of the screen, click Money report.
  4. In the dropdown, select a value.

Money reports display the following money metrics:

  • Sales value: Total value of approved sales and captures.
  • Sales average: Average approved sales and captures.
  • Refunds value: Total value of all refunds and voids.
  • Credits value: Total value of all approved credits.
  • Amount: Total amount of sales minus refunds and voids.

View approval reports

Use approval reports to analyze approved payments transactions based on one or more variables.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Reports .
  2. In the Payment reports section, click Transactions.
  3. In the bottom of the screen, click Approval report.
  4. In the dropdown, select a value.

Approval reports display the following metrics:

  • Auth approved throughput: Total number of approved authorizations divided by the total number of authorizations.
  • Approved throughput: Percent of approved sales.
  • Auth approval count: Total number of approved authorizations.
  • Disputes rate: Percent of disputed sales and captures.

View count reports

Use count reports to analyze the number of payments transactions based on one or more variables.

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Reports .
  2. In the Payment reports section, click Transactions.
  3. In the bottom of the screen, click Count report.
  4. In the dropdown, select a value.

Count reports display the following metrics:

  • Sales count: Total number of approved sales and captures.
  • Refunds count: Total number of refunds and voids.
  • Credits count: Total number of approved credits.
  • Disputes count: Total number of disputed transactions.
  • Unapproved count: Total number of complete transactions that are not approved.
  • All: Total number of all payments, including declined payments.
