Hello, and welcome to the April edition of the Rebilly news, features, and updates blog.
You can now apply subscription and invoice changes immediately using the new 'Now' effective date option. Use this option to apply changes to a subscription or invoice immediately, without waiting for the next billing cycle. For more information, see Modify subscription items or settings and Issue an interim invoice.
You can now download a credit memo in PDF format. For more information, see Download a credit memo.
We added the ability to configure a transaction email alias for payment gateways.
For example, to help manage GDPR compliance, you can use an alias email address instead in place of the customer's real email address. For more information, see Configure transaction email alias.
We added the ability to view reports for inherited AML matches.
Inherited AML matches are produced by another AML source and linked to your customers in Rebilly. The reports present inherited matches in one place so reviewers can assess risk and next steps. For more information, see View inherited matches reports.
We added the ability to refund credit memos to customers.
After you refund a credit memo, you can read the customer's credit balance with the Get customer credit balance API operation. For more information, see Refund a credit memo and the Refund a credit memo API operation.
We added the ability to allocate the remaining balance of a credit memo to an invoice. For more information, see Allocate customer credit balance to an invoice API operation.
We added the Cashier JavaScript library for embedding deposit forms, express deposits, payout forms, or a cashier form that supports both deposits and payouts.
For more information, including integration guides, working examples, and how to customize and style the forms, see Deposits and payouts.
You can now apply localized text for the custom amount buttons in deposit strategies. For more information, see Deposit strategies and the customAmount.buttonText API field.
We added the ability to set a default configuration for payout methods and their priority for automatic payout allocations.
Choose which payout methods to use by default for automatic payouts at the organization level and drag to set priority. During batch payout auto-allocation, you can also override the default configuration by adding methods to the batch or changing the order. For more information, see Set default payout allocation order.
