# AML reports

This topic describes how to view and use AML reports.

Use AML reports to view and analyze AML check volume and inherited matches.

This feature is available for the Rebilly KYC and AML features only. To activate, [contact Rebilly](/support/). 
The KYC and AML features may be used together or separately.

## View AML volume reports

Use this process to analyze AML check volume.

1. In the left navigation bar, press .
2. In the **AML reports** section, press **AML volume**.
3. In the top right of the page, press the date picker, then select a date range. 
To make a quick date range selection, on the right of the date picker, press  then make a selection.
4. Optionally, to filter the report:
  1. In the top right of the page, press .
  2. In the **Filter** dropdown, select a filter.
  3. In the **Operation** dropdown, select a condition.
  4. In the **Value** field, enter or select values.
  5. Press **Apply filter**.
5. Select one of the following metrics:
  - **AML checks**: View the AML checks performed.
  - **AML check hits**: View the number of AML check hits performed.
6. Optionally, to display AML checks by status: Select the **AML checks by status** checkbox.
7. Optionally, to include results that are propagated from other AML sources: Select the **Include propagated results** checkbox, see [AML check inheritance](/docs/kyc-and-aml/aml#aml-check-inheritance).


## View inherited matches reports

Use this process to analyze inherited AML checks by provenance reason.

The inherited matches report displays the total number of inherited AML checks for the selected period and each provenance reason, the number of inherited checks for that reason, and the percentage of all inherited checks.

3. In the top right of the page, press the date picker, then select a date range.

4. Optionally, to filter the report:
  1. In the top right of the page, press .
  2. In the **Filter** dropdown, select a filter.
  3. In the **Operation** dropdown, select a condition.
  4. In the **Value** field, enter or select values.
  5. Press **Apply filter**.
