Rebilly news, features, and updates for September 2026

Hello, and welcome to the September edition of the Rebilly news, features, and updates blog.

New features

Product options

We added product options so you can sell variants of the same product. You define each option on the product, then set one value for that option on each pricing plan. For example, a product option named Region can be US on one pricing plan and Europe on another. You can also replace option values on an individual order item. For more information, see Product options and Create a product.

Archive and restore pricing plans

You can now archive a pricing plan that is no longer offered for new sales. Existing orders that use the plan continue to bill. You can restore an archived plan later. For more information, see Archive a pricing plan.

AML audit reports

We added Anti-Money Laundering (AML) audit reports. You can search by person ID to review screening history, linked customers, and related transactions. When you have permission to view AML checks, you can open an AML check from the screening history. You can export the report as a PDF, CSV, or JSON file. The report is available when the AML audit report feature is enabled for your organization and you have the GetAmlAuditReport permission. For more information, see View AML audit reports.

Identity document checks

Identity document verification now checks for a document number and for the country and region that issued the document. For more information, see Identity document checks.

Minimum payout amount per transaction

You can now set a minimum amount per transaction on a gateway account. You can use that minimum on its own, or with the existing maximum amount per transaction or maximum amount per rolling 24-hour period. These limits apply to automatic payout allocation only. Manual allocations are not capped. For more information, see Set payout limits.

Permission editor

We added a permission editor for users, roles, and API keys. You can search for a permission, apply a preset, or select permissions by resource. For more information, see Add a new user, Create roles, and Create an API key.

Removed the user MFA status API

We removed the Retrieve user MFA status API operation (GET /users/{id}/mfa). To set up or turn off multi-factor authentication (MFA), use your profile page. For more information, see Configure your user profile.

Subscription renewal reminder webhooks

We added subscription renewal reminders that can be sent 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before an order that contains subscription items renews. For more information, see Subscription renewal reminder, 30 days, Subscription renewal reminder, 7 days, and Subscription renewal reminder, 1 day.

Update transaction results

You can now set the result of one or more sales transactions to Abandoned, Approved, Canceled, or Declined. A transaction that already has the selected result does not change. For more information, see Update one or more transaction results.

Fit a data table column to its content

You can now fit a data table column to its content. Press the divider on the right of the column twice. The column expands or shrinks to fit the widest cell in that column. For more information, see Adjust table column width.

Recurring interval and service period anchor

When you change order items, the recurring interval and service period anchor come from the new plans. For more information, see Service period anchor, billing timing, and invoice time shift.

Docs

Standard Webhooks signatures

Each webhook includes a Standard Webhooks v1a signature. Verify the signature with the public key for the environment that sent the webhook. You do not need to fetch or cache signing keys. For more information, see Standard Webhooks signature.
