• Improved the usability of filters in the Rebilly UI by adding an Apply filter button to all segments. For example, to apply a filter in Data tables, select parameters, then click Apply filter. For more information, see Apply a filter to data table content.
• Added usage notifications for metered billing plans. For more information, see Set usage limit notifications for metered billing.
• Added webhooks for the Soft usage limit reached and Hard usage limit reached events. These webhooks trigger when the soft or hard usage limit thresholds for an item with a metered billing plan are reached. For more information, see Webhooks.

• Migrated the Rebilly website to use the Redocly product named Revel. The website now has dark mode, a feedback option on every docs page, and other minor style changes.

• Improved the KYC document upload functionality from the Rebilly UI. For more information, see Upload KYC documents.

• Added customer AML checks to the Rebilly UI. AML checks are performed automatically each time customer information is modified. For more information, see Manage AML. Also added AML operations to the Rebilly API.
• Refined credit memo allocations:
  • Added the ability to apply a credit memo to invoices on POST /credit-memos.
  • Added the ability to edit or delete credit memo invoice allocations on PUT|PATCH /credit-memos/:creditMemoId.
  • Added invoice allocations to the response of all GET /credit-memos endpoints.

• Added credit memo support to the TaxJar integration. When TaxJar credentials are configured, credit memo transactions are now automatically added to TaxJar. For more information, see Credit memos and TaxJar integration.
• Added document subtypes to the KYC analyzer. Document subtype is now included in the scoring algorithm, shown on the document detail page, and can be configured in KYC settings. For a complete list of available document subtypes, see subtypes.
• Added the option to allocate specified amounts from credit memos to credit and refund transactions. This allocation reduces the unusedAmount of a credit memo. For more information, see Credit memos.
• Added a new merchant configuration for the PayPal mount function. For more information, see PayPal callbacks.
• Added metered billing. Use metered billing when product quantity is unknown to the customer at the moment of creating a subscription. For more information, see Metered billing.

Features

• Added the credit memo feature and resource. A credit memo is a record which describes a certain amount that is owed to a customer, it is also a means of providing a customer with store credit. A common use case for using a credit memo is to provide a customer with store credit, rather than a refund, if the customer pays more than they owe or returns a product. For more information, see Create a credit memo and the Credit memo resource.
• Added the BxGy coupon restriction. You can now offer "buy X get Y" promotions. These promotions incentivize new customers to buy and also reward existing customers. This restriction type enables you to add discounted plans to an invoice when a certain quantity of other plans are purchased. For example, if a customer buys two or more books, they get one free bookmark. For more information, see Coupons & discounts and the restrictions field of the Create a coupon API operation.
• Added the option to export your organization data. For more information, see Export organization data and the Organization data exports operations.
• Added the Block gateway account on chargeback limit app to the Rebilly App Store. Use this app to temporarily deactivate a payment gateway account when the chargeback limit is reached. For information on how to access and install apps, see Install an app.
• Added the upsertCustomer API property. Use this property to upsert a customer when creating a transaction. For more information, see the API reference documentation.
• Added PaymentCard and BankAccount as additional paymentInstruction options. Use these options to create a paymentInstrument when creating a transaction. For more information, see the API reference documentation.
• Added an option to provide transaction amount limit. For more information, see the API reference documentation.
